Our Year 13s are celebrating some of our best A level results today with 80 per cent of students securing places at university, one heading to Oxford and another to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.

Others have already achieved placements on advance level apprenticeships.

Deputy head teacher Ben Vickers said: “We are extremely proud of our Year 13s and the way that they dealt with such uncertainty over the last 18 months, continuing to work hard and remaining focused on the final outcomes.

“This year more than any other, we are reminded that high quality education is not about counting grades but about the amazing young people who leave us after seven-year school careers to take on exciting opportunities at universities and apprenticeships following a range of interesting subjects. We wish them all the best of luck.
