High Performance Rugby Pathway
Launching September 2027
This pioneering initiative offers an exciting opportunity for aspiring female rugby players to compete at a high level while pursuing their academic studies at Hazel Grove Sixth Form. Designed to support the growth of talented student-athletes, the pathway combines elite rugby development with outstanding educational provision.
By providing access to expert coaching, competitive fixtures, strength and conditioning support and personalised development opportunities, we empower students to pursue excellence both on and off the pitch. The pathway is not just about rugby; it is about ambition, opportunity and unlocking potential.
Whether a student dreams of representing their club, county or country, or simply wants to maximise their potential as a player, the High Performance Rugby Pathway provides the structure, support and inspiration to help them succeed.
- Train with purpose – High-quality coaching from experienced rugby professionals with links to the regional and national game.
- Build your edge – Specialist strength and conditioning support designed to enhance performance, build resilience and reduce the risk of injury.
- Track your development – Performance profiling, athletic testing and ongoing feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Compete and progress – Access competitive fixtures, talent identification opportunities and clear pathways into university rugby, representative rugby and the women’s performance game.
