Mrs Emma Moroney
Head of School
Originally from Liverpool, Emma graduated from the University of Manchester with a BA Honours degree in English Literature and History, followed by a First Class Master’s degree in Education and Leadership.
Emma brings with her over 17 years of experience in education, and several senior leadership roles across Laurus Trust schools, including Trust Director for English, Assistant Head at Cheadle Hulme High School, and Deputy Head at both Hazel Grove High School and Laurus Cheadle Hulme.
Mr Martin Vevers
Executive Head of Secondary
Martin graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc (Hons) in Physics in 1998, before completing a PGCE at the same institution. He later gained a master’s degree in Education and a National Professional Qualification for Headship.
Martin brings with him extensive experience across a range of educational contexts. He joined Cheadle Hulme High School in 2005, where he served as Deputy Head for six years, and in 2008 was awarded Secondary Teacher of the Year in the North West. He went on to become the founding Head of School at Laurus Ryecroft. As a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE), Martin supports school improvement and high-quality teaching and learning across the Trust.
