During the coronavirus lockdown many students and school staff are using their time to do amazing things to help others.

Hazel Grove High School student Hannah is spending the month of May walking a mile a day to raise money for the school’s Resource Base. Inspired by the 2.6 Challenge – which began on 26 April, the day when the London Marathon should have taken place, as a way for people to continue to raise valuable funds for charitable causes – Hannah decided to complete her very own 26.2 mile marathon.

She originally set a target of £100 but quickly smashed this. Her current total stands at more than £220.
