Kim Kress, Head of Technology, said the team has been making masks and scrub bags in a variety of colours.
“We have created our own Rainbow of Hope,” she said. “We were asked if we could help with any PPE and we rose to the challenge!”

Head of school, Martin Stewart, said he was incredibly proud of all the Hazel Grove staff and their response to the crisis.
“This is a brilliant example of how selfless and hardworking our staff at Hazel Grove High School are,” he said. “A huge well done to our Technology department, who have given up much of their Easter holiday doing whatever it takes to make a difference.”
Scores of PPE items have been distributed by school staff to GP practices and care homes throughout the area, helping those on the frontline who are working so hard in the fight against the disease.
