This spectacular event allows runners to participate in either a 10k run or a half marathon and we had staff taking part in both.
They were proudly cheered on by colleagues and students as they pounded the streets past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks including Old Trafford Football Stadium, the set of Coronation Street and Beetham Tower, the 47-storey skyscraper on Deansgate that marked the finish line for both events.
Donations are still pouring in but at the last count staff had raised almost £3,000 between them, which is a phenomenal amount for a phenomenal effort, and which will go towards a fantastic cause.
