Meet the Team

Mrs Lambert has been teaching within the Laurus Trust since 2008, starting her career at Cheadle Hulme High School where she later became Trust Director of Languages.

She joined the leadership team at Hazel Grove High School in 2020, as Assistant Head of School, and later moved into the role of Director of Sixth Form. Mrs Lambert has an unswerving dedication to helping young people to realise their academic potential, helping them to open their eyes to the wealth of possibilities for future careers and opportunities all around the world.

He has a love of learning and aims to develop students to reach their full potential with uncompromising aspirations for every individual.

Mr Vickers feels very honoured to be Deputy Head for Hazel Grove High School and the Senior Link to the Sixth Form. He is passionate about helping the young people of Hazel Grove develop the qualities and skills that will enable them go on to the future of their choice.

She is an inspirational teacher who shares her love of literature with her students, encouraging them to become avid readers and to use language to find their own voices. She has high expectations of her students and encourages them to be aspirational in the way they view their future selves.

Mrs Roberts feels very honoured to work as Assisant Director of Sixth Form and as an English Teacher. She has devoted her career to supporting the development of the young people at Hazel Grove and she values the achievements of each of her students, no matter how small. Mrs Roberts believes in life-long learning and is passionate about raising the aspirations of her students. She is proud of the contribution that she has made to her students’ lives by supporting them to go far in their applications to employment and higher education.

Ms Clifton is passionate about continuing the House System ethos and Laurus Trust Cornerstones as students move into the Sixth Form. She strongly believes in providing opportunities for students to develop their leadership potential, actively serve the community, nurture their creativity, and participate in competitions, whilst aspiring to achieve the academic success that will open doors to their chosen futures.

Mrs Khan is passionate about supporting all students, regardless of background or circumstance, so that they can achieve their goals and exceed expectations. Mrs Khan has high expectations and is dedicated to nurturing this in students. She works closely with Sixth Form students to ensure they are making progress and immersing themselves in the wonderful opportunities presented to them. She strongly believes that Sixth Form is a critical time in a young person’s academic life and feels privileged to be a part of their journey.

Mr Warren has taught A Level Biology since joining Hazel Grove High School and has supported many students in making successful applications to Medical, Dentistry and Veterinary (MDV) schools. He is passionate about guiding students through one of the most challenging and competitive application processes there is. Mr Warren leads on our MDV programme, through which we endeavour to ensure that our students have the best possible chance of taking the next step towards their chosen careers in these highly demanding yet rewarding fields.

With a strong passion for Human Biology and Medicine, Mrs Butcher is deeply committed to supporting students in pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science. She firmly believes that all students, regardless of their background or circumstances, deserve the guidance and encouragement needed to navigate these challenging and competitive application processes successfully.

Mrs Leach is passionate about pastoral care and supporting students throughout their time at school and sixth form. She firmly believes that each and every young person is unique, deserves the best possible education and has infinite potential given the right tools to achieve this.

Mrs Gill feels very privileged to be working in the redeveloped Sixth Form as the Academic Services Manager. She is responsible for providing administrative support to the Sixth Form Team and is often the first point of contact for parents/carers and students. Mrs Gill is passionate about supporting students to prepare for the next step in their lives, opening the door to the future of their choice.
