A team of talented Year 12 and Year 13 students from Hazel Grove Sixth Form (HGSF) have achieved an outstanding victory at the Eduhub Pharma Engineering Challenge 2025.

The Eduhub Pharma Engineering Challenge took place during the ISPE UK Affiliate Annual Event at the Etihad Stadium this week.

Students were tasked with tackling a real-world pharmaceutical brief, researching solutions, and delivering an 8-minute presentation to industry leaders – all in just two hours!

Our students rose to the challenge, impressing judges with their teamwork, depth of understanding, and confident responses during the Q&A. Their efforts were rewarded when Team HGSF was crowned the overall winner. The team proudly brought home a trophy and each student received a £100 prize.

Following the competition, students explored the Pharmaceutical Exhibition, where they networked with industry specialists. To finish the day, they enjoyed a behind-the-scenes tour of the new stand which is under construction at the Etihad Stadium.

The Eduhub Pharma Engineering Challenge was a brilliant opportunity for our students to put their skills to the test and connect with industry experts.

We’d like to extend our thanks to Eduhub for coordinating the student challenge, and to the sponsor Beritech PharmaPipe for making this possible. A big thank you also to ISPE UK for hosting such an inspiring day!
