Year 11 students at Hazel Grove High School celebrate GCSE Results Day 2025

The hard work of the students and the staff has enabled students to get the grades they deserve, so they can confidently go on to the next steps in their educational journey.

Whilst there were so many successes to celebrate, there were some outstanding sets of individual results. Huge congratulations to:

  • Anna, who achieved all grade 9s and one grade 8
  • Oliver and Alex, who managed a clean sweep of grades 8 and 9

A number of other high achieving students achieved a raft of grades 7-9.

Year 9 linguists also received their Modern Foreign Languages results today and it’s been another fantastic year with a superb set of results to celebrate. Over a third of students achieved grades 7-9, with 70% securing a grade 5 or above and 81% achieving grade 4 or higher.

Martin Stewart, Head of School, said:
“GCSE results day is always a great occasion, to celebrate the outcomes of the students and see their hard work and dedication come to fruition. I would like to congratulate all of our students collecting results in Year 11 and in Year 9, we are all very proud of your achievements. I’d also like to thank our fantastic staff, parents and carers for all of the support provided. I would like to offer my best wishes to all our students moving on to their next steps and look forward to working with those enrolling at our academic Sixth Form.
