Recently, our Year 10 Health & Social Care students had an amazing opportunity to explore the wide range of careers available within the NHS at a dedicated careers fair – a brilliant way to support their learning for Component 2 of the course.
The event was packed with hands-on activities that really brought the world of healthcare to life. Highlights included trying out a baby delivery simulation in the midwifery section, scrubbing up like surgeons, cutting casts, and even using surgical drills on artificial bones!
There was plenty of excitement as students got stuck into each activity, giving them a real insight into what different NHS roles involve.
It was a fun, engaging and eye-opening day – and left many students feeling inspired about where a career in health and social care could take them.
