Whole School Uniform

Standard Uniform Boys and Girls (Years 7 - 10)

  • Blazer - Maroon, with embroidered school crest
  • Pullover - Maroon, V-neck with embroidered school crest
  • Shirt - Sky-blue shirt with a stiff collar. Short sleeves can be worn in summer.
  • Tie - Blue with school logo
  • Footwear - Plain black leather (not waterproof)  No ankle boots.These must not display any embellishments e.g. logos, coloured laces.
  • Socks- Plain black or white
  • Tights - Plain black/clear tights. Tightsd and socks must not be worn together
  • Outer Garments - Plain black coat (no prominent logos or markings)
  • Jewellery - Plain stud earrings, one at the bottom of each ear
  • Skirt - Plain black skirt no more than 10cm above the knee
  • Trousers - Black school trousers only. No demim fashion trousers or tight legged trousers allowed.

Summer Uniform

This uniform can be worn from the 8th May 2018

  • maroon polo shirt with school crest

Year 11 Uniform (at the discretion of the school)

  • Sweatshirt - Black sweatshirt with embroidered school crest (Prefect's Royal Blue with embroidered crest)
  • Polo Shirt - Sky-blue polo shirt with embroidered school crest
  • Skirt - Plain black skirt no more than 10cms above the knee
  • Trousers - Plain black trousers 

Year 12 & 13 Dress Code

All sixth form students should be professional at all times, both within the school, and whilst representing Hazel Grove Sixth Form and you will be expected to dress suitably for a business like environment. Our dress code is designed to match our motto of ‘Aiming for Excellence’ and we encourage students to have high expectations in their personal presentation and academic achievement. The dress code plays a large part in instilling our highly aspirational mentality and approach we take to your education and future.

Clothing students must not wear

  • Trainers
  • Denim/leather
  • Fashion wear
  • Hooded tops/sweatshirts of any description
  • Location coats or coats with prominent logos

Reflective tabs or stripes may be worn on school coats, hats or scarves. During the winter months only, students may wear plain black gloves, plain black hat and scarf
