A consortium of four secondary schools within Stockport wish to recruit an highly motivated individual to provide school improvement support and challenge to their schools. The consortium is looking for an exceptional candidate who can use their knowledge, experience, credibility and creativity to challenge and improve the performance of each school and the outcomes for students.
This is an exciting opportunity for a significantly experienced senior leader to work closely with each school to make a real difference. You will have experience within a school leadership team as a qualified teacher and a record of successful school improvement outcomes in a Secondary school setting. You will develop a tailored support and improvement package for each school, to assist the Headteacher, Senior Leaders and Governing Boards. Although geographically close each of the schools has its own unique set of challenges and opportunities, providing a broad range of experiences for the successful candidate.
Hazel Grove High School will employ the successful candidate, who will work two days a week across the consortium. This is a ‘stand alone’ role so you will need to be confident and self-motivated with a real passion for the outcomes of students.
