Stem Club News 17/18
Year 7 Stem
This week at year 7 STEM (science) club we used our imaginations and engineering skills to build rockets and other vehicles out of unusual household objects such as spaghetti and marshmallows. Some groups were more successful than others but we all had a great time (apart from Miss Greenwood who had VERY sticky desks the next day). Next week we are going to begin work on a national competition to solve exciting science problems. New members are always welcome- in fact, the more members we have the greater our chances of winning are! Come along to T1 every Thursday after school and see what its all about!
Year 8 Stem
At year 8 STEM club this week we used our physics and engineering skills to design and build pringle wheels. We had one sucessful group and then enjoyed eating the pringles afterwards! Next time we will be starting to make a life size operation game
