Marking Policy

At Hazel Grove, throughout the Curriculum, we make sure we are marking for:

  • Our specific subject content
  • Literacy errors

This is to help us to achieve our Literacy Ethos as staff that:

All staff recognise the value of literacy as an integral part of their teaching and act as facilitators in helping all pupils to develop these skills.

In every classroom in the school Literacy Marking Policy posters help pupils to understand the Literacy marking in their books and consequently improve the standard of their written work.

This policy is key to helping our learnings improve the accuracy and overall written standard of their work.
