Whilst many students have impressed in this first exam season of the new 9-1 gradings notable achievements were also made by Chloe Morris, Harry James and Rory Challinor all with 3 x Grade 9’s and all other grades at grade A or 8.
Headteacher Mark Sibson said of the schools results “There are many happy faces today collecting results, the students have worked incredibly hard for these grades and with support from parents and staff are rightly celebrating some excellent results. With the changes to the gradings this year for nearly all subjects it’s pleasing to see our good academic record as a school continue in terms of levels of attainment students are achieving. I would like to say a huge thank you to all our staff and the students families for all the support given to students in a year with so much change put on to them. They have done themselves and the school proud.”
