HAZEL GROVE HIGH SCHOOL

Headteachers Welcome

Very Warm Welcome to our school

I hope it will give you an insight into why I am so excited about leading this school and why I think that, together with the students, staff, parents and governors, there is something very special and unique here at Hazel Grove.

It is a privilege to serve the school as Head teacher. My staff and I truly believe Hazel Grove is unique in its care and support for pupils, the quality of learning experiences we can provide and the encompassing family ethos. Staff, pupils and parents work here together to create a place where children enjoy, thrive, succeed and are challenged to be the best they can possibly be in all areas of school life.

We strongly believe that our School is a community which succeeds through strong partnerships. One of the many strengths of our School is the relationships between students, teachers and parents. Our staff are outstanding and as a result of this, behaviour is excellent and the school continues to go from strength to strength, year on year.

At Hazel Grove we create a climate where learning can flourish

At Hazel Grove we aim to get to know students as individuals, and care about their individual welfare & happiness. Our pastoral support is outstanding in supporting students in removing any barriers that may exist and this is why Hazel Grove has become locally well known for its caring approach to individuals.

We unashamedly put people first and focus sharply on our students’ needs in all that we do. For the children who choose to learn at Hazel Grove we guarantee a school where they will feel safe, with a friendly atmosphere focused on learning and where relationships between staff allow each to flourish in highly engaging learning experiences.

I do hope you find our school website useful. However good a website can be, there is no substitute for experiencing the real ethos of a school. The atmosphere in this school is warm, friendly, secure, and purposeful to support learning. I strongly encourage you to experience this for yourselves by visiting the school during the school day. Please do contact the school for this to be arranged.
