E-Safety Library events

The Continuing Education Service is delivering one-off E-Safety Sessions at four of our Libraries during the next few weeks aimed at families with children in the 7 – 11 age bracket. Each session will be 90 minutes long.

The Importance of Limiting Tech Time

The reasons for limiting the amount of time your children spend using tech, the impact that the use of tech has on their social/ mental/ personal development and alternative activities centred around learning and play.  Idea sharing and collaboration.

Cybersafety

Understanding safe use of the internet as a family, who we communicate with and why – which devices can we use to communicate with, how digital skills can help with yours and your child’s learning whilst safely limiting the use of certain websites, how to report inappropriate content and how to be a good Digital Citizen.
