Welcome To Hazel Grove High School

Photo of Ms. J. NolanThe staff and I would like to offer parents/carers, students and visitors a very warm welcome to our website.

The primary aim of our school is to provide a happy and safe environment, within which, each individual is encouraged to achieve their full academic, moral and physical potential. Initiative and self discipline are encouraged alongside an awareness of responsibility and respect for the school, its members and the local community.

We have high expectations for our students. We demand high standards of courtesy, behaviour and appearance from them as well as good attitudes to work and learning.

Our pursuit of excellence is combined with care and support for each individual. All our students are valued and there are excellent relationships between staff and students.

A website can only give you a glimpse of our school. To experience the true atmosphere of the school prospective parents/carers, teachers and students are encouraged to visit us during term time and meet the staff and students.

We look forward to seeing you when you visit.

Jo Nolan - Head Teacher

New Student Rewards

The new reward system at Hazel Grove contains everything needed to reward students for making the right  decisions and producing work to the best of their ability. This will be used consistently across all curriculum    areas. The rewards consist of subject specific stickers that can be collected on line and exchanged for a range of different prizes. Good news postcards are sent home throughout the year by teachers, heads of house or even the head teacher.
